My buddy has one on his turbo K20 honda, it sounds like a 'whoosh' but it feathers it into consistantly smaller whooshes instead of letting it all out in one blast. I dont know why I like it so much. Only thing thats bad about them is the rubber membrane instead of a spring so more prone to failure.

.and if i saw a 12v making that sound id prolly beep at him till he pulled over and freak out asking how he turbo'd his 2.8 then run him over when i found out he was using a speaker.
