How do I tell if my steering rack is ZF or Koyo?

How do I tell if my steering rack is ZF or Koyo?

Title says it all...I'm sure it's simple and I should have been able to figure it out, but I haven't.

but you definately have the ZF rack.. question is, do you have the strut or not?.?.?... give me a minute and i'll try to find out for ya

a bit of research on AW has shown that the V6s have the steering strut.. so i believe you have it. but not 100% sure at this point.. you might want a second opinion on that.. i wish i had access to ETKA or something right now.. good luck

Not sure which power steering rack I have?

I have a 2000 Audi A4 1.8T quattro.....gotta leak and was wondering if I'm dealing with a zf or koyo type. Or are they interchangeable? Audi makes this so difficult sometimes

so far this forums been pretty good to me, keep up the good work!
