Wait, you're getting the ticks from the center of the spool? That's bad. You're probably using the wrong fuel sealant. Have you tried using a quart of full synthetic fuel system sealant? Its great for plugging up those pesky holes in the injectors that constantly are spraying fuel into the air mixture.

But seriously, as for the original question, that's like asking 'how many spokes are on the wheels of my car?' Just look at it. And if it's been debaged, look at the drivers side door pannel on the information sticker. Or do the free carfax check of the vin. Or look at the insurance paperwork, paperwork from the dealership, hell, even your last reciept from Jiffy Lube or wherever you get the oil changed. They will all say the cars model, and probably more information than you ever knew about the car.

And you shouldn't jump to conclusions about calling people ********, and you probably should spend a little more time Googling things.

Normally I am helpful. but only when people ask REAL questions. Not questions like "what's the difference between a boy and a girl?"

As I had stated in my original post, this is not my car, it is my neighbor's daughters car. It isn't just next door where I could go look at it. I knew from asking her which one it was, (an A4 as it turns out). I did a Google image search after the ruckus I caused here, and with out any thing in the back ground to show size , can anyone really see a difference in the two from the picture? Maybe the A4 has more of a flare around the fender but that's it. I was just curious and thought it was probably a quick easy question that somebody who knows Audi's could easily answer. I didn't realize how upsetting having a fool in your midst would be to your forum and for that I apologize. I will shuffle off to my own, lowly Ford forum.

 

I'm not saying you should leave. I'm just saying that you should try searching first. If it was an engine question there might be more that the cars have common. But you're talking about body panels, the a6 is a bigger car, so the exterior is going to be completely different. If you are just wondering what the difference between them is, just look at audis website. If you have a more specific question like "where is the best place to get parts? or a door? or window mounting pieces?" then this is the place for info. If it got wrecked, what got hit? and where? what kindof damage are you talking about? dent? or crushed fender? If you need cheap body parts, check out shokan.com. they are a scrapyeard that specializes in stripping audis.
