Default How to get to MAF sensor
Can any one tell me how to get to the mass air flow sensor its a 2000 A4 1.8T.

I believe its inside the air box.

The most common cause of a fault in the MAF sensor is K&N filters. The oil used in these and similar style filters screws them up. http://www.audia4mods.com/audia4mods...ntryid=1161676

If not in the airbox, they are commonly relocated to the trunk next to the CD changer.

No it wasnt stupid. MAF's arent typcially located inside the airbox so its a legitimate question... I just thought I was a comedian for a sec.
