How hard is it to change rotors and pads yourself?
it was my second brake job for me..... took about three hours and a six pack [sm=icon_cheers.gif]
you will need the tool to retract and spin the piston on the rear brakes... make sure u open the brake fluid reservoir first
the rears are a little trickier... you might need a tap and die just to clean the threads on some bolts.. mine had a ton of audi locktite on them and wouldnt start back in without feeling like it was cross threading... i cleaned the threads and they went right in!
oh and dont be scared to beat on the rotors when taking them off... some of mine were stuck on pretty tight! but use a rubber mallet!

ORIGINAL: A4 Effort
Just get a giant "C" clamp, and you'll be fine. You only need the piston tool when working on the rear pads.

I didn't know the B6 had that annoying screw on the rotor. I wouldn't recommend using an impact tool on those screws, strip them and your fvcked.
