Its a toyota main dealer with a very good rep here.....just talked to the guy, told him I wasnt happy. He is going to reconfim the service with the service depot (offsite), and get back to me. Said if its not done, he will do next week.

Mileage defo good. Inside is spotless, not a scratch, not a bit of wear. Very relible dealer so they would not tamper, etc......bit miffedat the timing belt comment though....it'll be sorted, not too worry.

how much would it cost to import a car from Ireland to the US? - what amount of tax? If its not to outragious then we might have found a palce to pick-up ultra low milage cars.

Dont bother, cars are v expensive here compared to US. Paid €7500 for it. A new A4 (std 1.8t) is about$55k here! 30 registration tax makes things expensive.....also, we are rhd.

if the belt is new it will have white or yellow print on it. also, if they did it properly, they should have replaced your accessory belt & all the tensioners and rollers with it

 

youll be fine for another 30-40k
