I've solved the problem for people in apt buildings anyway - So I was stolin around wal-mart and I found this

- drain your oil the same way you always do and it helps not make a mess - this one will hold up to 9 quarts

The great thing this little bugger was only $5.50 - Unlike the oil extractor pump that cost $50

You can bring in whatever you want and they will put it in for $12 - Doesn't sound smart on their part to me - you'd think they would have a bunch of liability law suits aginst them. Does the $12 cover oil and filter disposal fee?

Yea, I used to work for Jiffy Lube....They don't care what oil or filter you use....they will only pay for your car to be fixed if it is something that their employees did. If you use a different oil or filter they are no longer liable for the oil and filter. They can tell if the oil is theirs because there is a small additive put in all of the penzoil oil they use to identify it when tested, and the oil filters they use can only be bought by Jiffy lube, since Shell owns them both. So basically, if you bring your own products, they are less responsible for your car.
F*** performax filters and stripped drain plugs.
