I've had my Audi A4 1.8T quattro for about 2 years now and I love it, needed a few fixes at the beginning, but it's been a while. I am not very experienced in these cars but I'm still trying to learn! So anyways, when I get my oil changed I always get synthetic. Of course they tell me to come back every 3,000 miles to get it changed again, but some people are telling me I can wait 15,000 miles until I need to get it changed again. Now I don't know but that sounds like too long to me. What do you guys recommend? I usually have been waiting about 5 or 6,000 miles. Thanks a bunch!

 

DO NOT WAIT THAT LONG!!!!

I change mine ever 3000-5000 miles or so.
