what are the best power adders for the97 a4 with a 1.8t out of everything not just turbo upgrades adn ecu's but lemme kno what some good kits for those are too thanks

 

What else do you want? Why are turbo and chip out of the question? Those are the big "power adders" for our cars. I guess you could do exhaust but that wont add half what the other stuff will. Btw, STFA.

 

If you know you aren't going to go turbo upgrade, then definitely do a chip. It is the biggest gain for your money. An exhaust might give you 10hp, but it will most likely be more than a chip that will give you 40hp/80tq......giac is about 450 if I remember correctly.

 

best power addres for the money is a big turbo kit :P

 

im not sayin that turbos and chips are outa the question its just that those are really all that ive found for the car and yea im plannin on doin the ko4 but if there is a better kit lemme kno and if there are any other good power adders

There is a huge difference between those turbos. The ko4 is a nice reliable turbo, capable of about 250 bhp, and lots of torque. Both GIAC, and Revo offer software for the k04. The gtrs is capable of much more power, but there is not any decent tuning available for the b5 for this turbo. If you have a b6 though, revo has software that is making very nice numbers.

 

or if you have plenty of time and money....just get a gt28rs and go standalone.....i would if i could.
