ok i didnt soder bc it was so close to the o2 itself so i just twisted them and filled it with high temp silicone. ill try and remove it tommorow to see what that does but how would that explain the weird noises it makes when the accel key is on. giac sockets an ecu and then there is a chip that goes in it so i tried both and they both make the same sound. i just think it might be a bad tbps if so can i use a aeb tb and put it on my 01 a4 1.8t q. also does anyone know where to get a cheap 02 sensor at that is direct replacement. i really appreciate all the help guys

eh neither the o2 sensor or the tps sensor would cause the car to not start. Yeah the 02 sensors can not be just twisted together and siliconed. Dude take your car to a shop, you've f'ed it up enough for one day.

really. ive never heard of this happening. sorry i cant be of much reference. if you end up aveing to replace the entire TB (for some freak reason) then look into a VR6 TB. i think they have the same bolt pattern, all you need to do is port out your intake manifold

it seems i have something new. on the maf there are 4 really 5 wires. yellow, green/yellow, green/white, green that is covered by black loom. now under this there is also a black wire that is cut so...but i dont see where it goes bc there are only 4 ports that go into the maf. also where is the ignitor chip on the 01 or do they have one.

did you one could be the ground, thats what all black means in car language. the car will turn over w/o the MAF so that couldnt be your problem. however it might be a problem.
