Ever get that terrible feeling in your stomach when you realize you've left out a critical bolt?

The following is a picture of a disassembled 2000 atq v6 cam chain tensioner. See those orange "plugs/spacers(?)"? see how theres two of them?

Yes. thats because I forgot to install it on the CCT when I replaced its pads. I put about 50 miles on the car before I noticed it missing. I really don't feel like taking the intake cam out for a third time to place the orange spacer/plug back in.




so... what on earth have I done?!

 

It's there for a reason. Put it back in now while the VC gasket is pliable enough to be reused.
