ok...so now when my car idles, it makes this weird noise. it sounds like a beep, but it doesnt sound like its coming from my engine. its also not a consecutive beep, it happens randomly. soooo i have no idea what this is. any help?

 

what else is the car doing, running ruff. runing slow? how old are your belts.

 

yea...i dunno if its the belts, but i do know they need replacing pretty soon. im at 54K on the miles. and this noise doesnt seem to be affecting the cars performance, but its still a rather irritating noise that wont go away.

 

belt a pully bearings are notorius for making squeaks and other noises like that.
