Default I just drove chiped B7 2.0T

I got to know a friend whohas 2007 A4
2.0T with APR chip and miltek exhaust system
on it and we had a chance to
race and swap the rides for fun.
I ve read a lot of ppl in this forum saying that chiped 2.0
could be fast as 3.2 and I was kinda hope to
feel it..........
but a BIG NO NO.

I wonderif anyone drives 2.0T had ever got a chance to
drive 3.2.I just simply feel the torque difference btw
those 2 engines. Chip may boosts the torque and hps
of 2.0T up to base 3.2 but I could not "feel" those gained
torques and hps as same as 3.2.
The 2.0T owner also drove my car and said he should've gotten
3.2 rather spending money on chip which still cant beat 3.2.

Plus I found a local tuning shop who suggested me to put a
supercharger on my car. I didnt buy it cuz I thought there
will be no s/c for 3.2 for several years but he hooked me up
with a guy who actually done it. So I asked him to show his car
and take a little test drive b4 upgrading mine and he said fine.
man, 2.0 never gonna beat 3.2 engine since the enginesare just different.
you could put more and more money on 2.0T engine to boost
performance up but there is also reasonable limit of those gains
unless you spend a fortune which you can do on 3.2.

i didnt mean to post my experience to upset 2.0 drivers
but I just wanna tell ppl that 3.2 is also good for mods
and all that.. I am sorry if I made you feel angry about it

Does the 2.0T have a testpipe?

A chipped 2.0 should be right with a 3.2L The cars do have different torque curves and peaks, which could explain what you were feeling. I have driven both the 3.2 and my 2.0 before purchase. A couple more mods on the 2.0 and you will have your hands full. The 2.0 is modable as opposed to the 3.2L Very smooth engine though. I would have gotten the 3.2, but I wasn't able to afford it.

You guys should go to the track. Street racing pretty much means nothin. 3.2's are quick, no doubt, but this:
man, 2.0 never gonna beat 3.2 engine since the enginesare just different.
is a pretty ignorant statement. Which makes me doubt your entire post.

this whole section is worthless....... and i am not even a 2.0 owner... the money you will spend on that custom s/c.... a 2.0 owner could spend on a bt and stand alone that will definatly give them more hp and tq and probably have some money in the bank to do scat rods and then some.......dude, just a tune and nitrous and you will own a 3.2...........

i appretiate the fact that you like your car....... but you have horrible grammar and make no sense

if i can get a 3076r with proper supporting mods and a standalone on my 1.8 and make 500hp, then imagine what that would do on a 2.0.... and with new rods on my 1.8 i am looking at 600whp......and i bet that is still cheaper then a s/c+ custom manifold + labor...... cause mine should all bolt right up and i could install it myself...... only thing i would have to pay for is the stand alone.....

before you start spouting off filth from your *** catcher...... do some reaserch

what you should of said was "hey i have a 3.2, my buddy has a 2.0 we raced, drove each others cars and he wishes he would of not gotten his car......."
end of story
