its the same *output* 3.2 thats in the TT and R32, those claims are just total BS. 250hp and 245tq isnt going to beat a chipped 2.0t with the same hp and more tq, not to mention lighter. The only way i would buy this is if you have much larger and heavier wheels compared to his stock ones.
What is with the total BS stories being posted in this section this past week? First the sand and now this

^^^ no it is a completly different 3.2 that is in the A4 and A6 that is in the A3 and TT the one in the A6 A4 is your normal V6 engine where the A3,TT uses the VR6 with a single head completely different from each other
Gotta agree with you there. The 3.2 ultimately may have more power potential, as long as you're talking about gigantic available funds, but let's be reasonable. A 1.8T guy can drop several grand on his car and count on wasting that 3.2. Yes, the one guy has a custom-fabbed supercharger, but he's one out of how many tens of thousands of owners who have a 3.2? He's the exception, not the rule. I'm sure that if someone spent enough money (read - mid-5-figures) they could build a world-dominating 3.2, but who's gonna pony up the cash?
Yes, a 3.2 could probably waste any of the 1.8T cars out there, given a $50k development budget. Doesn't mean much in the real everyday world.

Probably more like the idea that A8 owners have no misconceptions about their cars. That is not a drag car. Even if it has good hp numbers, it's not anywhere near the intention of the car's design. Remember it's hauling an aircraft carrier. 300hp or so in a 4400lb car does not make a fast car.
The 2.0T motor will blow the DV and PCV valve within a week of chipping the ECM, the car you drove probably was only boosting a max of 10 psi. Let me guess....didn't have a boost gauge?
