I got in an accident this morning in my car.

I must say, AUDI's are unbelievably safe.

I was driving to work, normal traffic. Got moving, then stopped, I looked in my rear view.......this DODGE NEON was gong 65 MPH, i was STOPPED, and then...BOOOOOOOOM.

Her car was totaled. My car got some damage, pretty minor, no tail lights broken, just some minor punture wounds in the bumber, and some damage to the left side of my drivers side door..( I swerved to avoid the car in front of me.)

I thought based on impact speed that my car was ... &^*(! Unreal. They really are safe cars. Thank you AUDI.

 

heck ya there safe cars, euro car makers dont pass up any steps when producing there automobiles.

 

So, you were stopped, she hit you and you swerved to avoid the car in front of you?

He was probably pushed in the direction of the car in front of him. Physics dictates that his car would be pushed a great deal by another car hitting his at 65.

Glad you are ok, 65mph into something at a dead stop is hard core. When I was 19 I was pushed off the road by someone merging without checking first and hit a phone pole at 45 and my car was completely destroyed. I can only imagine what 65 was like... The best part about this though, is it is a testament to Audis excellent quality, and Dodges corner-cutting crappy quality... You get what you pay for...

 

Yeah I t-boned a utility truck going close to 40 and the A4 held up well. My car was totalled, but it crumpled where it was supposed to and I was barely even jerked out of my seat.

That convinced me for sure to get another one.

LOL...I was just in one too today. I was turning at a light (which I was stopped) and the wheel turned left but the car wanted to go right it to the crub. I didn't have time to check it out but I know my TR has to be shot after taking a full hit around 15 mph. Crappy weather glad you are ok
