Get an FM transmitter. They have them in walmart and target for maybe $20-$30 for decent ones. better ones will be like in the $50 range. Belkin seems to be the most used brand when it comes to FM transmitters. What it does is let you play music from your ipod through your fm radio. You just set the transmitter to an fmstation you would like to use for your stereo unit. And it should play. It looks lile this. I myself still use the head unit that came with car (Bose), and purchased a tape adapter for my mp3 player.
