I need some tech help.
Car 2001 a4 qmt
problem. check engine light.
I vag.com the car and the codes for cylinder misfires is my check engine light... Problem is i replaced the coil packs less than 6 months ago.... do you think it is valve related? fuel pressure related? fuel delivery system? or just bad coil packs? I had miss fires on cylinders 1,3,4
Thoughts?

Either something is causing you to run rich and missfire, or if you already replaced your coil packs, your ICM might be bad.
well you are 01, so i dont even know where the ICM is or if you even have one. On pre 2000's it is located on top of the air box.. Dont know about 00+

Dang, running on 1 cyclinder! Dont see that too often.
You need to do a little more troubleshooting.
How many miles on the car? What do the plugs look like? Are they wet with gas after it is running and not firing? Or are they dry, as if they are sparking, but not getting fuel?
I would verify spark to each cylinder first, to eliminate the ICM or whatever contols the ignition on yours.
Then, if all cylinders are sparking, your going to want to start looking at fuel delivery issues.

RE: I need some tech help.
you don't need to buy new coil packs or get new spark plugs
just switch the coil packs around to see if any of them are dead.
pull the plugs to check and see if they are firing well and not rich/lean
you can do a compression test after that too
but $10 says its your Ignition Control Module
