Breaking news update:

I erased theh codes using the OBDII scanner, went for smog check the first time, failed.

Drive it for about two more hours, strangely the code still haven't come back yet and I know it will probably come back soon, went there to smog again, and I PASSED IT.

The moral of the story is WTF?
Like i told you your cats are still ok just not 100%, but your O2 sensors are very sensitive so it will throw a CEL very easilly, you might wanna try putting non fouler O2 sensors in or spacers on the sensors fooling them (what i would do)
That or put in new cats for $3,000
Now that it passed the smog, I don't think anything fix is neccesary until another two years, don't you think so too?

Your check engine light will come back on all the time, but yeah your gonna have to erase the fault two years from now again to pass the emmisions test, depending on how bad the cats are.
The cats right now are below audi specs which is why it threw a fault code, but federal emmisions requires a certain amount of grams per mile of emmisions blah blah, so you might pass in two years or you might not. Just make sure if you get a bad ignition coil that causes a miss-fire make sure to change it ASAP because that will take out the cat in a hurry.

about 5 months ago, I changed all the spark plugs and replace one coil. the cel has being on ever since i brought the car, at first, it bothers me a ton, however i really get used to it now and it's not bothering anymore, well the car runs like a tiger every since i brought it anyway.

Put some tape over it then LOL. Go down a few posts about NO CEL test pipe, those are the spacers im talking about which should control the CEL somewhat, im sure it you can fit them on the 3.0L engine though because there isn't sh** for room around the cats.

well, i said that it's NOT bothering me at all, in fact now that i rethink about it, it's even coOL to have a little light on like a christmas light. LOL

It only bothers me because i'm afraid it won't pass emission test, and it did passed.

Most people that go into my dealer are filthy rich in the first place, plus i have to get my 40 hours so i could care less. I get paid on how much i wrench, thats flat rate. I could be there 8 hours and get paid 0 for the whole day if i have no work.
