Default I should've asked earlier.

I was taking out the Audi from the garage yesterday, since I got most of it put back together, and power steering didn't work. So, I'm like WTF now. I couldn't think of why it wouldn't be working.

I had to replace the rad support on the car and of course had to disconnect the cooler pipe for power steering. Of course at the time I didnt' know this and was very pissed at my power steering for not working. I knew that fluid that came out of it smelled different from oil and at the time it didn't register with me that it was power steering fluid. So, now I can go home and get some power steering fluid and fill it back up to get working again. I'm so mad at myself. [sm=bangbang.gif]

Any way, is there a special power steering fluid that I need to add, or does just normal Autozone special work? I know I had to go to dealer to get my coolant.

Yes, there's a special mineral fluid for the power steering. I can't remember the name off the top of my head, but it's not that expensive.

Sweet. I'm headed to the dealer tonight then. I knew it looked different that other power steering fluid. Almost oil colored when it came out.

Don't dirve your A4 at all. If it doesn't have the fluid, the pump will burn out.

No, no driving that thing for me. At least not until I solve coolant leaking issue.
