Default I want to know.

Ok. I am horrid at impulse buying. I was looking at an 02 benz and the dealer showed me this car, being an 01 A4 quattro with the 2.8 having 35,500 miles on it, so i bought it. I know nothing about these cars. First off do you think that paying 20,500 was a good deal? Now on to more stuff. I have an RX-7 (FC3S) and a 325i (E36). What some cool things about this car that i should know. Things like any hidden cool things and what people call the car (FC3S = 90 RX-7 and E36 = 95 325i) and the engine (RX-7 = 13b).

Your car is a B5 (96-01 a4's) and don't worry about the engine code, because there is next to nothing in performance mods for the 2.8. I have a 2.8 also and the only think that is made for it that has significant gains is the PES G2 supercharger ($5,000 new)

My '99 1.8T Quattro with 26,000 miles was $11,500. You got ripped. For that kind of money you could have gotten a S4 or a previous model 540.

Quit making the guy feel bad. It's still a nice car. But $20k for a B5 might be pushing it.

You did pay a bit too much. I paid $16,900 in January of 2005 with 48,000 miles and it came with an extended warranty. The car looks great, and the sport RS4 wheels look good. I can say that I have had no major issues with my 2001 2.8Q. I have run it hard, and I have had no major issues. The mods are light for the engine, but the ingine will last forever if given proper care. Good choice!

Nice car man. Not too many mods you can do with V6 tho and yea you paid a bit too much. It is the price on KKB but you should've got lower.
