I Want An S4
Welcome to the club. If you think maintenance is expensive on a4 wait till you get the S4. Then theres insurance.
Yeah...........insurance is another reason im getting rid of the S4, im 23 with a perfect driving record and im paying $250 a month with a $2,000 deductible, plus the price of keeping the thing running.
I really think you should NOT purchase and S4 of any year un-less youearn $80,000 a year or more and be over the age of 25.
it would be around 300 a month for me to own one[&o] my a4 is 200 a month

stick with an a4 unless you got plenty of cash laying around. they're cheaper to mod and easier to work on. they also feel alot faster than s4's w/ the same power. at first i wanted a b5 s4 too, but i like the 1.8T's a lot better now

thats crazy? who are u with? i pay $105 monthly for my car! (when i checked into an s4, i gave them the vin off an 05 v8 s4, and it was $1 a month more!!!!!!!
The A4 is $100 less for me, i just switched to AAA from progressive which was charging me $265, the good news is AAA will reduce my payment to $200 a month if i stay out of trouble after 6 months.

Wow, that is some expensive insurance. For my 2000 a4, I spend a little less than $450 dollars for six months offull coverage. It may be because I've been with the same car insurance company for 9 years, have no accidents, and one ticket on my record.

I'd like to get an S4 also, but after having my a4 for just over a year with $4200already sunk into and knowing that equivalent maintenance for an s4 would probably be double that, I'm content with having an a4 for right now until I earn enough money to afford one. When I do buy one, I will only buy one that has been well kept andabsolutely nothing wrong with it.
