so soyo bulbs would take my car from this to this?

no, the s-yo bulbs don't have an amber look, they just glow amber when turn it on. you just want standard issue yellow bulbs from any car parts store to get the amber look.

 

sneaky, do you want them to be orange when they're flashing, or all the time? imo the orange kills it, those s-yo or silverstar bulbs i think would look alot better. that's just me though

 

i personally like the amber bulb (so... i like hte amber reflection in the housing) without the amber lense piece

 

ok, that makes sense. So how difficult is it to install the grills ? The bulb i would just put in like if i was replacing a blown bulb right? So you guys think it would look better how it is (white all the time) then amber all the time? For all i know it could be amber when blinking right? i havent seen any pics of it on.

I talked to my dad (yes, he is still the one i have to go through if i want to do any modding, at least til i go to college next year) but he is fine with trading the wheels for different ones (if they do that) and replacing the grills (probably only $300?)

the grill pops in and out very easily, it takes 3 minutes to install. it's just a few clips

 

I got the silverstars about a month ago and to tell you the truth...im not impressed...their ad's make them seem like gods eyes are shininng from your car...but they're no better than any other normal bulb....i dont see the hype in them...personally i like the amber turn signals..cuz it keeps a classy look..dont tell me you like the blue..cuz thats for the civic world..and they can have it.....i like the amber inserts too...hey..its all a matter of opinion..

nope, my uncle who lives there is test driving it today, (hopefully he already has) and if everything checks out, my dad and I are going to pick up some cheap plane tickets and fly down ssaturday, and drive back sunday.

I am definately getting the black grill and lower grill. Hopefully i can get someone locally to trade the rims for some sportier looking (less blingy) black rims.

I also think the amber lense piece looks cooler.

I think it would look cool to have my car basically blue and black.

I said this on another thread, but anyone know of any wheel stores i could look up in my yellowpages? I want to start calling around and asking if anyone will do trades. That way i could drop off my car, have them take the old ones off, put the new ones on, and then i can drive out.

i'd suggest the amber bulb (but leaving the amber lense out) i'm not a huge fan of completly clear corners.

judging by the amount of chrome this guy's got on his car... he doesn't know style, so that chrome on the lower grille is probably just a chrome tape strip, just rip it off. i don't know of any aftermarket lower grilles anyway...

invest in a torq wrench man, do the rims urself!
