Default I'm getting so sick of working on my car...

Can anyone help me..

I just replaced my fuel filter... JUST.... Went to start it.. Nothing... Just turns over and over and over and over.. So I thought hmm.. Maybe it needs to prime.. Turned the key on turned the key off a couple times. The car started...

I get in to back it into the garage.. Touch the gas.. Car shuts off.. Wont run... Turns over.. .Acts like its out of gas... but its not....

You sure the fuel pump is running? Check the fuse...

None taken. For fwd there are equal sized nipples on each side of the filter, and no where did you indicate in your post or in your signature that you are either quattro or fwd. What exactly made you think the fuel filter needed replaced anyway? Did you have this or other running issues before you replaced it?

Why do you have "control arms" in your signature btw???

First of all yeah.. Mine is a quattro... You should change your fuel filter in any Gasoline cars atleast every 20,000 miles.. I do it at 15.... Just habit... You're car is only as good as you take care of it.. I put control arms in my sig. because I bought the full febi kit from ecs... When I put it on it made a world of difference in the way my car felt and performed... When I have my 18's on it is amazing... I'm back to the stock sport 99.5 16's right now.. PS got the car to run.. No clue what happened. just turned right over and started ran a little ruff then ran after a 5 min drive and park/start... Thank you anyways guys...

Cool. Every 20k miles is excessive, but whatever makes you feel good. You probably just had some air in the fuel lines from when you removed your old filter. When I changed mine I had to give it a few tries before it would stay running.
