i attempted to install an aftermarket keyless entry system in my a4...and the write-up i tried to use turned out to be completely worthless, so after a couple hours of screwing with all the wires, trying to make things work, i gave up...now i'm finally reinstalling my factory keyless entry.........but i cut the antenna.....[:@][:@][:@].....RIGHT at the base of the module too....is there anything i can do to salvage this thing????? can i splice the wires back together or is that not going to work in this case? i was thinking about taking apart the module and resoldering the wires inside there...any suggestions guys?

maybe it's just me, but that list looks incomplete, only a few colors are included....the part that got me screwed up was wiring the relays in....i would consider myself to be fairly experienced with electrical systems, but i had at least 4 different wiring diagrams on hand and i still couldn't figure it out...a voltmeter would've helped...i even bought the exact same keyless entry system as the write-up, and it was supposed to be done on my exact car....

i've pretty much given up on trying to get an aftermarket to work....unless someone tells me that i'm screwed since i cut my factory antenna....
