Default I'm new, and confused

I was reading the newbie guide to A4's and was wondering about the '99.5

It says that you cannot run a BOV with a MAF due to it running rich. The '99.5 does not have a MAF so would it be possible to run a BOV instead of a DV? In the guide it says b5's cannot run a BOV and a '99.5 is a b5, so I am confused :/

all a4 have a MAF's (unless your running standalone). what determines whether or not you run rich is if you have a MAP, which is 00 and beyond. but i have a 98.5 and run a BOV with no problems whatsoever. your only gona be running slightly rich for the second after you blow-off. not really gona damage much IMO

it's disputable but i have no problems whatsoever. and i told you you could run a BOV in your last thread.

as long as the BOV is closed at idle, it should be fine
