How do you not know your chipped... Is it the only A4 you've ever driven? I'm confused......

I've seen several people selling ECU's on Ebay claiming that they are chipped and most do not have any marking that would indicate GIAC or APR when they are claiming either brand. I would really get a Boost gauge and test everything - guess maybe I should see if I'm chipped before I even start thinking about doing it

Yes, it is the only A4 I've driven. I've owned it for about four months. The car is appeared to be compleatly stock, it even had the stock DV and N75, I took the old ones off when I upgraded. It always felt a little strong (based on people describing their stock A4's) but, I had nothing to compare it to. I'vebeen looking forward to the upgrade...this whole situation kind of sucks!

Well......at least we learned that the InMotion guy isn't a thief trying to get your money.
He could have just as easily told you that he chipped you and kept your cash.

Obviously, we were all waiting eagerly to hear some feedback on how the chip performed, but at least the chippER sounds like a reputable guy.

One of these days someone on the forums will get it done and we'll put this thing to rest once and for all.

Until then......GoAPR !

Im assuming he means tooling by messing around, changing, or updating the inputs.
