I think he means the tool(s) he uses for flashing the ECU instead of chipping it. Doesn't sound sketchy to me.

So is there or isnt there a chip for a 1997 A4 1.8T quattro?? Giac and Apr all sells chips right?? Or do they flash program your ECU as wel?? If they have chips , wonder why inmotion tuning doesnt...?

it doesnt sound sketchy to you?? then go for it and be the guinea pig for the inmotion tune...see what happens!!!! if your so confident this guy has the tools to program the ecu correctly ....why would it be 200 versus all competitors for 700 or 800???

Money isnt always the deciding factor of quality. I owned a TurboXs UTEC cost me a G. Guess what...? it was installed properly and it blew up the ecu it was attached to.
