INMotion B5 A4 chip, reputable???
OK everyone. I am going to buy an InMotion chip. $175.00 to go from 150hp to 198hp vs.$400.00 to go from 150hp to 200hp. I am going to take the chance. Ido not expect to have the fastest car and be the coolest guy on the road, I just want a little more power. MyA4 is not a race car and I will never expect it to be one.
At the moment no one on this forum has any first hand experience.

after you get it installed, dyno your car. im betting it'll give 22 ponies at most. o and do you have a boost gauge? it'd be interesting to see how much it boosts. also if you have a revo dealer close to you, you should get their trial software so you have something to compare it too.
While 174 customers is not alot, I'd bet that some of them have to be on the forums here. Maybe they should speak up for them either for or against. If you are willing to take the chance then I say go got it! Someone has to be a guinea pig... er I mean have that pioneer spirit
Let us know how it works, and yeah, dyno it and test out the boost!

i took a closer look at his feedback and not all his products are chips. there was a n75 valve and some other stuff too. which means its probly under a hundred chips sold AND most the feedback was left right after they got the item, woohoo fast shipping blah blah blah. it'd be interesting to see how well the chip held up over time and what the powerband actually looks like. i dont trust those dyno's he has on the page, they look fabricated to me. there MAY be a SLIGHT chance that you get 48 hp more but i doubt its consistent through the powerband, which is just as important.
Chaoos is right here, why the **** would you buy a cheap ECU from a company who bases themselves off ebay sells? Especially when you can pay another 300$ mabye 1/2 paychecks depending on how tight your budget is and know your getting a quality product thats used by thousands. Its really a no question move, don't take a risk and buy a no-brand ECU. Thats the dumbest thing I've ever heard someone ponder on, its your entire cars brain... next thing you know you have issues, and your down a minimum of 175$ depending on what takes place... Be smart..
Me personally...... I went with APR based on my budget, research, and owner feedback.
Until someone steps up, buys the product from Inmotion, and reports back here that it's junk - EVERYTHING ELSE IS SPECULATION.
It could be a guy that writes ECU code for a living.
It could be a former REVO, APR, GIAC employee.
It could be the guy that invented the friggin' concept of an ECU.....
No one knows.
Until someone buys the product and has first-hand knowledge all of the bashing is baseless and has zero foundation.

Evoic, thank you for saying that. As for Amze, I understand what you are saying, but I think before you go out there and bash everything on Ebay you should do some research of your own. I say this because I'm not a cheap *** when it comes to buying things, I just look for good deals. For instance, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...:IT&ih=018
barely used tires that cost far more, and I was sure to purchase from a good seller (100% positive). And when I say research, http://www.tuning-chip.at/dynamometerset.htm hows that for a little better of a website for you, if you would have looked INMotion tuning has been over seas for years in Europe and seems to just be coming to the states now. Bluesnapper will be the one to test it out and I hope to god its just as good as your chip that way I can say that I saved $300. Me and him are talking and he will keep me posted on the quality and we will let you all know if its worth it.

Ebay is a great base for small business's and virtual business's.. All I'm saying is... Its an ECU.. Not rims! Not a grill! Not a short shifter, an ECU thats 300$ cheaper than any other company and were talking popular main companies..... Don't risk it man.
