Last time i was on here i was talking about decieding between takin my uncles 05 B6 a4 S line, or buying an 02-05 WRX, and i was going towards taking the audi and getting apr stage 1 software, i now made up my mind and im gunna go 100% with the audi and do more serious work. I was looking at the APR ko4 turbo kit but $2300 for a turbo, software and injectors seems kinda expensive? Or am i wrong? Is this a good price, or does anyone else know a good ko4 kit?

 

New plan, i want to get apr stage 1+, FMIC, throttle and turbo inlet hoses, intake & exhaust but im seeing some people say this power will not work well with the toptronic tranny.. this forum seems dead, someone reply to me im constantly checking this thread hoping for a reply!

 

You're posting in the wrong section. Since you have a B6, post in that sub-forum, and you'll get more of a response. Better yet, if you have a 1.8T (which I'm pretty sure you do, I think they started putting the 2.0T in the '06 MY) post up in the B5 sub-forum.

Now, to be honest with you, the KO4 as an upgrade is a waste of your hard earned dollar. Most people who upgrade to the KO4 are very satisfied at first, and then realize they could have gotten way more power with an Elim kit for just a little bit more money.

Buying a complete kit from APR is going to be way over priced anyway. Check out Mike at www.ring-racing.com. He is a member here and several members have worked with him and are extremely satisfied. Said Elim kit can be had for about $3,500 I think, comes with fueling and software, and you'll be pushing an easy 300 HP.

That's what I would do anyway.

 

Well, like i said in my last post im not gunna go that far, i think ill be satisfied with apr stage 1+ software, FMIC, silicone hoses, exhaust & intake... Im just afraid because i hear ppl say it doesnt work well with tiptronic tranny...? I think those upgrades i just said are going to make my a4 a decent amount faster.

 

hello i have a4 sline 2007 just RECENTLY BOUGHT the headlight R8 STYLE for my car and problem is HEADLIGHT SUCKET IS 9 PIN BUT ON MY A4 SLINE HAS 14 PIN ANY BODY KNOWS IF THER IS A ADAPTOR TO BUY.
