Default Installing Subwoofer/ Speakers? Best place to find my answer?

Hey guys I could buy a system from a guy i met a couple hours ago. He wants to sell me 2 subs and an amp for 400 dollars. I was thinking about installing a system a while ago and never got around to do it. Do you guys think its easy for an amature to install subs and an amp?

The only thing i really need to know is how the sound from the headunit connects to the actual sub itself. I pretty much know how to run the wires from the battery to the trunk.. But how bout connecting the head unit. Im going to install it myself because i dont have the $ to pay to have it installed.

Where else can i look for the answer to my ? I really need to know before tomorow so i can tell him.

Not sure which A4 you have but if you have a stock headunit you are going to need an inline converter. You splice a wire from one of your rear speakers into this box, which then runs RCAs to your amp, and your amp goes through speaker wire to the sub. Thats how mine is. I had never done a system before and I did mine. It was pretty darn easy to be honest, took about an hour to get it all in, but I spent an additional 40 some minutes re-running the power cable in order to totally hide it. You cant even see it when under the hood. PM if you need help during the install...
