Finally got that bad boy in the car and im absolutely loving it... the gain i got was huge i guess before my car was just really restricted or somethin but now it flys..........but the only thing i noticed the kit didnt come with the lil breather thing that attacts to that hose and i was wondering if it was supposed to or i had to go buy it

 

You have to go get one. You probably don't absolutely have to have it as long as you have all the underbody/underengine shields in place, but $10 or so for a breather filter and a barbed fitting is cheap insurance just in case.

yeah when i did my ghetto intake i didnt put a breather on there. it was kinda risky but i drove that way for 4 months no problem then i switched back to stock cause i didnt like the intake

 

well i got the breather filter today for around 10.... end that .... now (prior to the breather) my engine isnt makin a wooshin sound or a sucking sound like it did when i first installed it is that just because that was the first run after 10 minutes or is somethin wrong......and its a k & n 57i...........soon ill probably work out a straight metal pipe wit the help of some friends
