hey amze, do you notice any intake drone when you're crusing on the highway now? every other car I've had an intake on has had horrible issues with droning around 3-3.5K rpms, which is right around cruising speed on the highway. I don't want to touch the stock airbox if it's going to drone. so, any annoying noise?
The intake is only really audiable when the throtle plate is open a significant amount. If you need to hit the gas THAT hard to keep up freeway speeds in 5th gearat 3k rpms then there is somthin wrong.

It set me back a fair amount... Lltek's shipping hurt me, cause there in Canada.

Intake with shipping: $320 (B6 A4)

Custom Heatshield: $90 (A4)

$410 dollars for 1hp and some throttle response..... priceless

$410 dollars for 1 hp and some throttle response: $410

I do not notice any drone while cruising, only time you hear noise is when you make your turbo gasp for air, or when you let go of the gas after hard accelerating *whoosh* but othert than that its pretty quiet. I really like its sound, but I gotta accelerate to make it noitcable

So far cruising doesn't have any drone, well see if that changes as I break it in more... but as of right now its perfect.

Yes, I hope to chip next, then paint lowers... rims, boost gauge, grill, euro plate... All that will be done by the time I turn 18 in 6 months (I hope) and then I am saving for my K04 setup since my dad can't really b*tch at me to much when he'll have no say in what I do to the car.... Yes he owns it, but oh well... I gotta go K04 for sure, down the road sometime. The intake and exhaust I have will compliment both Chip and K04 turbo very nicely, so I'm happy with my choice as of right now. Both exhaust and intake/heathshield come with hefty price tags but I can't do anything about that I do stuff right and so far so good
