intake problems

Default intake problems

hey about 4 days ago i got my car chipped and got it an intake (2003 1.8t). the same day a few hours later i got a check engine light. i call tyrol tunning who did the work i go back n they get it fixed it was a lil thing in the intake that chipped supposably n they replaced the peice. n then once again the engine light went off. n then AGAIN a few hours later the check engine light came on again. can it b the same problem again cuz the guy at the shop said that the reason the light came on the first place was because i was loosn power and burning more fuel. whats goin on some one help me.

ooooo and one more thing its an evo intake forgot to add that in.

if the filter was overoiled it can have an effect on your Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor. is that what they replaced that had "chipped"?

yup thats wat they replaced. i dunt understand why that sensor would come up again though.
