Can you really feel a difference with an intake?

You'll defenitely hear the difference, but at the same time throttle response is improved. You could also buy a K & N air filter for use in the stock airbox which is just as effective and much cheaper.

If i'm not mistaking, K & N only has one application that would replace your stock air filter.

Alright thanks Suite, and Panda, here is an intake for a 3.0L. I think I'm going to get one of those.

the gains you will see is from 5-8 hp.... IMHO not enough to justify a 200+ price tag.

look here.

Or you could look at audiboy's DIY thread here

https://www.audiforums.com/m_77013/tm.htm

I have a 3.0 also I am waiting on doing some of the intakes, exhaust till I am sure what else i am going to do.

If i was to do something right now. I'd drop 50 on a snub, 50 on a k&N, 300 on a Giac chip.
