My favorite of the Hondas have always been theEG Civic and the DA Integra. Seems like everyone is doing the K series swaps nowadays...
BTW - nothing rice about your civics, very respectable cars. Given, they aren't luxury like Audis are; but holy **** they can be fast if you know what you are doing.

Like that but the audi rings. Awesome!! And don't sweat you 2.8 dude. Even my 1.8 with a K04 is gonna lose to some rice from time to time. Your fine dude. Slam it, rim it, bump it and pimp it.

Hopefully this will put you at ease:
I happen to have a 2000 Integra GSR, which I spent $1000s of dollars tunning (I/H/E, tranny, clutch/fly, wheels/tires, CP, ect) before I bought my 2006 B7 2.0T Quattro. I lived in Virginia beach at the time, and I was coming through the HRBT, when a modded(turboprolly,I think I heard the BOV)RSX pulled along side of me. I was with my girl(now wife) and he had his girl. Naturally, I dropped down to 3rd and punched it. He hung with me for about 6 sec. before he pulled away and moved over infront of me. I was all cussin and feeling imasculated in front my girl, and was thinking "if I was in my Teg....". Then my girl sees how upset I am, and says with a smile- "Baby, calm down. YOU'RE the one drivin a ******* Audi!"
Well, I don't know about you, but that made me feel alot better

I pretty much appreciate all kinds of cars, unless of course they are riced out,,lol and again that is relative. The main reason why I like to mention my civic so much and tell people about it is because I do have a passion for tuning these kind of cars. 3.5 years ago I started my own forum, www.k20a.org and have learned a lot of these motors and motors in general.. Never really had any formal mechanic training… just a civil engineering college degree…
With 2 kids, a wife, soccer practices, violin lessons and all the things in between, it is really hard to find something just for me,, to remind me that I am still young at heart… that is where the Honda beater race rocket comes into play… It is a toy that brings a smile to my face like no other toy that I have.
The Audi on the other hand is more than just a car as well.. It makes a certain statement about yourself, your character, your background and hints to where you are going. I really love the engineering.
Speaking in general terms, the Japanese are really good engineers and problem solvers. They can pretty much duplicate anything.. So I can give them 100% credit on their engine development and all their research and development that stems down from their formula one program.
On the other hand, german cars have a more complete package. You cannot just compare ÂĽ times, and read car and driver reviews.. You have to experience it to see the difference. I will never forget the first time I drove a 911 turbo..
But why I am telling you all this? You already know about this. Cheers,
Nikos
