Greddy intercooler kit or Race Tec? same price...

 

seriously id say buy urself a mandrel bender and universla piping and youd be savin money, or a mig machine and some u bends..just b/c its an audi doesnt mean u have to buy everything pre made..

 

I understand, but theres some quality in no hassle, and something that can save time. What car do you drive? YOur sig shows that you have gone thru 4 cars?

 

mandrel benders arent cheap you know ?

alot of shops dont have them.. just crush benders

 

greddy is thick. and if its too tall it will hide behind the bumper

 

Does anyone else not like the stealthy part of a front mount intercooler? Im planning on painting my ends a semi gloss black, To try and hide it a little better in the bumper..

 

i have a QTM 1.8. a silver one its my avatar. and Ive found a brand new mandrel bender for 150 at this local machine shop down the street from me. a few freinds and I are pitching in a buying it. and will save us lots of money now and inthe future.

 

i intend to do the same thing most like to show off the fmic.

 

Renn-art has a $800 fmic with all the fix'ns when talked to them a couple weeks ago they had a black anodized 1 in stock.
