Well ill be using it in the front and i dont know if i will have the right connection that the actually icelink connects to. Im not real clear yet if it will work ill give them a call and see if theres an adaptor of some sort. Thanks for the feedback.

That was to be assumed. If you have an in-dash changer you have an extra external port on your stereo thus you can use your Ipod as well as cd's. If you have a trunk changer, your changer is using the available external port so you have to decide between the two.

this may or may not help. i just finished a sirius S50 car kit + IPOD adapter install in my cousin 98 A4 1.8T Quattro. Concert head unit w. bose. i am assuming u have the delta head unit so this may apply if have have a cd changer in the trunk and you;re willing to sacrifice it. we purchased a USA SPEC IPOD Adapter + AUX Input from discountcarstereo.com. now the USA SPEC Adapter plugs into the cd changer cable in the trunk using a seperate cable that was purchased (CB-PAU i believe), and uitlizes the cd changer controls of the stock audi head unit to access the playlists. CD1 - CD4 were the 1st four Ipod playlists, CD5 is the entire Ipod library, and CD6 was the AUX input from the Sirius S50 (plugged into the USA SPEC Adapter using rca cables, red and white) headphone jack on one end / rca's on the other end of the cable.) to hardwire the Sirius S50 reciever i bought a cigarette socket and hooked it up under the knee bolster. grounding it to the fuse box bolt, and running the power to the 75x block which is ignition power, with an inline fuse holder with a 15 amp fuse i then installed the provided vent holster for the Sirius, ran the cigarette power adapter underneath the drivers side vent and plugged it into the cigaretter socket i installed. i will have pictures of the finished install if u want to see it. hope this helps. if u have any questions at all please dont hesitate to ask or PM me. members of this forum have helped me a great deal, its good to return the favor for someone else.

Heres the thing guys. 97 didnt come with a cd changer in the trunk nor the actual headunit its a indash cassette. I dont know if theres an aux port in the back of the headunit theres no markings on the face or an actual option to switch to aux so im thinking i dont have it. 97's got the **** end of the deal on audio.

i already posted this but none of these will work unless you have a Concert headunit...those came in 98+ models...I have an early 98 and i had the delta cc....i had to buy a Concert radio, then installed a blitzsafe adapter into my aux port...works wonderfully.
