Just bought and had the APR ecu upgrade done for 500 and had a 007 dv installed. All I can say is this was by far the best purchase I have ever made. The car drives MUCH better, gas mileage is a little better and it is definately faster. If anyone else is considering doing this upgrade i HIGHLY recommend it.

Yes it is. I got about 1.5 mpg more highway cruising. Of course, if I stomp on it, gas mileage goes WAAAY down.

 

Why wouldn't it be better..? Its programming da car to make it run better.

But while doing this you'll wanna take off quicker more so essentially you'll have lower gas mileage.. due to bad driving. But it helps for long trips, when its all highway cruising

 

Getting car chipped remaps the fuel pump to pump more gas. Everytime you change programs your throttle body adjusts.
