If I'm just coasting on the highway, I dont hear the exhaust (borla) at high speeds. Its only under load, or acceleration that the sound level goes up.

 

I have the atp 3" testpipe/downpipe and custom 2.5" piping with a magnaflow dual tip it sounds badass but im going to put a resonator in the mid section of the exhaust. Alittle to loud. Its cool for a couple of months then it gets old.

 

I've gotta brag a little about my Dad with all this exhaust sound talk...... just gets me all excited!!!

You gusy prolly know already that the Gran Turismo games on playstation use real life sounds of real cars as the sound of the cars in the game..... well Microsoft is co developing GT5 for the 360 and is using my dad's exhuast sound as the notes for the Porsche in the game!!!!! They did a 2 hour recording on the dyno at Chris's German Auto ( I think thats where he said they did it ) and got all the sounds bytes. He hasn't stopped talking about it for like 3 weeks.

He's got a FULL Monty Stainless mandrel bent system running on race fuel custom cut, tuned, and blueprinted for his car. (and his engine is ported, polished with special jet engine stuff that i don't know how it works, full balanced and blueprinted to .0001 minimum i beleive )

I guess he's scoring a free copy of the game from it too. I'm pretty excited had to brag a little [sm=happybounce.gif]

 

I own APR and dont really hear it in 5th gear on the highway...

You can REALLY hear it under accel/load....

APR = titz0rs...

I listen to the radio when im in my car too... kinda loud... so i wouldnt be able to hear drone anyway... but even with little/no volume.. i dont think it drones

 

so would you definatly recommend APR exhaust?
