Just got a K04 turbo, the turbo only. My A4 is stock nothing in it beside a 710N. I read in the Forum that with just the K04 alone wouldn't make any differents I would have to get a GIAC chip. I can't fine a place near me that can install the GIAC chip. So should I install the K04 first or wait untill I chip it?
Does anyone know of a place where I can buy and get the GIAC chip install, Sacramento to San Francisco?

install it, it may help a little but i think it would just be more reliable but then when u get ur chip and they install it it would be crazy and u wouldnt have to wait.

OHH NO!!!! DON'T INSTALL THAT THING!!!
You better send it to me and let me install it to make sure it won't ruin your engine...
Just kiddin'... go ahead and install it, why not? I'd definitely get the GIAC software thou whenever possible. you will see a difference for sure then. Have fun!

really send it to me i;ll give it a good home
i'll warm it up every morning
let it have its kool downs at night
give it the proper education with REVO programing
but ya u can run the k04 wiht out programin but u wont use the k04s full potential
and u kno are other programers out hterr rite like REVO, APR, GIAC, MTM and stuff
but if not you can sell me the K04
