I know a guy who runs 34psi when he's "in the mood" on the same motor except with a gt28rs...imagine seeing an awd getting sideways on the road by getting on it at 30mph But yea stock internals can handle about 350whp, although one guy, billyT on the tex made 491whp on stock internals

I think Jeff could see, if properly tuned, around 320-340awhp at 24psi

im going to go ahead and raise the BS flag hey might of got that **** done, but here is the problem no ones stock interals are made to be ran on 20-25 psi. if he boost up to that he is going to have probs he will only beable to do a couple a of races b4 it goes now if he gets new pistions and such he will be able to do it he is kidding himself about running that amount of boost with stock internals

Tons of people run t3/t4's on stock internals and for that matter the t28, have you looked around on any of the forums before. The search button is a tool and shall be used.

yes trailboss that is not what im saying any one can runa t3/t4 on stock internals what im saying is he wants to up the boost to 24psi his stocks interal will not handel that amount no car will. 7psi is the most i would run until i got new interals. just watch if he does nothing to the interals and runs that boost of 24psi he will crack his block

Not true at all, tons of ppl runs big turbos for 50k mi plus over 24psi with no problems. Also out of all the engine failures I have seen I have never seen a cracked block. 99% of failures on these motors are thrown rods or bent rods and most of these are not from pre-ignition believe it or not, they are from too much power (usually over 350whp), then sometimes the rods get thrown through the side of the block causing it to crack but that doesnt count Also I didnt take into consideration motors blown from timing belt failures.

only way i see it working with 24psi tom on a stock block is with sleeves or block guard but even if he has that think longevity of the the block its going to give running 24psi over time about 4-5 months with stock interals. thats if he only runs 7psi at day driving and runs 24psi on race nights.
