Question for you guys. The other day my check engine light came on in my 1997 2.8 and sense I have it under warrenty from the garage I bought it at I figured I would just drop it off. Aparently it was the o2 sensor on the cat and it was replaced. Now my question is when I started my car I noticed a few things, the engine/exhuast seems to be a bit louder and more noticible now and it also seems like the car has much better throttle response. Is this normal?

 

Thats strange, the post cat o2 just reads the exhaust flow to see if the cat is working properly.

 

I have no idea, all I know is my car is deff driving and sounding different now, could be a good thing or a bad..

 

Thats weird. You sure they didn't do something to the cats?
