I should have listened to everyone who said its pointless.

Pros: Slight increase in low-end torque, deeper exhaust tone (stock exhaust).

Cons: Minimal gains for a very expensive intake, not impressed with the sound @ WOT.

Conclusion: Save your money for gas.

hey, i have an '02 3.0 also and was considering gettin that same intake but now u said it was just ok im not sure. The problem is that not that much stuff is made for the 3.0 besides a supercharger, tip chip (i have a tip trans) and exhaust. ....................


On another post, there was a set of sweet vids where speed channel suped up an a4 1.8t



APR re-set the programming with a computer and the car gained 40 hp from that alone..... I was wondering if that would work for the 3.0 also since the car they moded was a 1.8t??????????????

You can get a chip for the 3.0
But it will only gain you about 5-8 HP at the wheels.
about $300 I think
