So, I've got an '03 A4 3.0Q 30v......I'm contemplating putting in a K&N Air Filter in it......I guess I really just want to know if it is worth the $50

 

Yes, its worth it. You can use it forever, alot cheap then having to buy the regular filter every time.

Yes its nice to have. I am going to stick with my paper one. The K&N ones have oil on them, which can destroy your MAF over time. Thats a pricey item. Lots of people have them though, you shouldn't have a problem.

 

don't over oil it and you won't have a prob.
