im trying to get k04 software from america because the australian giac dealer wants $2000 installed for a chip not even pc16. i got on to giac america and got this reply: reading other posts i think that i can use a different ecu as long as its also a 1.8t and same year so i was thinking i would buy an american ecu and go from there or maybe they mean that the chips we got over here are different and if i get one from over there i should be alright. any ideas?
