I have a 2002 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro MT5 as my daily driver, she's nice, she's pretty... She's as slow as slug.

So the car being my daily driver and all, I want more power, but I want EFFICIENT power. I don't want to question the integrity of the engine or any other aspect of the car. I was first thinking of the GT2X, but when I was informed by more than one source from this site, from other sites, from people, and from shops that the GT2X shouldn't be classified as a K04 Eliminator, because it's not that much better for the price.

So what numbers do K04s on stock B6s typically put down? I know stock B6 WHP is around 135-140whp stock, what potential does the K04 have.

Here are the modifications I am planning:

-SPEC Stage III Clutch
-K04 Turbocharger
-ATP 3" Inlet
-K&N Drop In Filter
-Test Pipe
-Custom Exhaust
-PC-16
-Proper Injectors

I think that should be a pretty stout setup.

So K04 owners... What do you think about your setups?

 

If you're getting a PC-16 i believe you need a FMIC also...and i wouldnt recommend stage III clutch...with the power youll be getting from the K04, id go with a stage I, maybe stage II

im saving up for my K04 right now

 

So which tune would you suggest?

 

pc-16 is n-dbw b5 a4 tuning. For you b6 guys revo makes k04 software, the sk04 file which has upgraded inj., i believe they are TT225 inj.

 

Yea from what i have been seing REVO is the **** on B6's

 

Honestly man I'd say got for the GTRS eliminator. The GT2X is not a big difference but the GTRS has broken into the 12s. Actually around 12.6 or 12.7. It will be running on REVO software too so you know it is reliable. Don't go K04 on a B6 just because the software is so good and you will spend about 700-800 more than the K04 setup you want but you will have a shitload of horspower more. I have a PC-16 on a B5 and to tell u the truth is not that impressive and I'm gonna try to work in the summer for a GTRS.

 

if you are planning on getting this turbo upgrade this summer my gtrs WILL be for sale i have had it on about 7-8 months and still have only barely 3k on it.

 

Go with revos big injector ko4 program, its the most powerful for the b6 I think they quote 255hp/
