Ok, I think my mech abilities are good enough considering I have done the timing belt and now a turbo swap but who knows. I might run into something weird. i might do those things today and then just not drive much until tomorrow.

yeah i saw your thread, but was still unsure i was doing my own research

 

I dont know about the FPR install but the injectors will take 20-25 mins tops..

 

FPR took about 2 seconds. Pull the clip out, pop the old one out, put the new one in, tap it w/a rubber hammer, put the clip back in.

All I can say is WOW! It's a totally new car! This thing is SO much fun to drive now!!!! WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO

So today took forever as well! Got there and the part still had not shown up yet so my friend and I ended up riding around with Jeff in a highly modded S4 (it was on pump gas and the chip was still set for race gas so we couldn't drive it super fast but it will do 0-60 in 3 sec!!!) anyways so we drove around getting parts for one of his other projects while we waited for the chip to show up. When we got back there it was there so we started first by replacing the injectors and AFPR. Once we got the idle fuel pressure set he went to work on getting the chip installed. He had to solder it on and then once he went to program the chip... it wouldn't program. We waited forever and finally got it working. Went out and did some test runs and made sure the A/F ratio was correct and then paid and left! He gave me a price break since it took 2 days and it took so long today. Originally he said $720 but after it was all said and done it cost only $616 so I was happy. I am going to start editing the video here tonight of our little adventure. We have over 1 hour of video so I should be able to put something good together!
