Ok, I am having a little bit of not really a problem but a minor inconvenience. If I am on the gas but only about 1/2 throttle to 3/4 throttle my boost jumps all over the place. It jumps from about 10psi-20psi or so. If I am WOT then it's fine but otherwise it does this. Any ideas? I am thinking maybe something with the MBC. I am running just that and bypassing the N75 completely. If I hooked that back up would it smooth it out? Thanks.

^ thats way to much crap for me. But yes, the problem is due to the ball and spring mbc. You should look into just running the mbc after the n75 or gettting a mbc with both a bleed valve and a ball and spring on it. Look at the turboXS mbc or the nice knock off by voodoo boost controlers. The ball and spring will still give you a fast spool up and the bleed will smooth out the boost onset and get rid of big spikes

Holy **** are Audi 0-60 times really that slow? I just had a 2004 Honda Accord 4 cyl that was faster than that. I just bought a 2002 Audi A4 1.8tq that I pick up on Thursday, am I going to regret it?

I have a bleed MBC. Same one as Onepoint8tee.

Oh and ZGSON, those are not very accurate 0-60 times. THe first one I had my car underboosting (should be around 8-9 PSI but was only at 4-5 PSI). Once I had it chipped I had 2 people plus another 150+ lbs of stuff in the car. Yours will be faster than my stock time.

if you bought the car for the sole reason to go fast in a strait line, then yes..

so you're picking your new car on thursday buy yet you have never even driven it? or any A4 for that matter? that's not a good way to buy a car

Yes, I did drive it, I didn't time the 0-60 during my test drive though, but it definitly seemed faster than what his stock video was showing, next time Ill bring my stop watch. Ive driven a 2000 A4 1.8t, and a 2002 A4 1.8t, both quattro...and to be honest, I don't get how people are only running 17's in these cars. Again, I think my Honda Accord could run 17's.

WTF? Are you ok kid? Its a pretty common question to ask what kind of times someone is running in their car.

no, what im saying is. you can ask, read, and watch other people run their cars and get their times. just don't stress over it.. there are MANY factors to what determines the acceleration times of cars. you won't/can't possibly understand them all for every person that runs their car
