The picture that akielbposted is how I am running mine, and it runs really smooth and cool. I just ran the mbc without the n75 for a while to try it out and the engine ran hotter. not really sure why. It was also more surgey.

 

Yeah I wouldnt bypass the N75 with a mbc unless its with a bleeder/gated controller, like we have.

 

is it me or did the pc16 0-60 vid take 10 seconds... i really think i counted 10 seconds on that but i only played it once...

 

Yeah it seems way off to me too, but like he said, he had 3 dead bodies in the trunk.

 

LOL, yeah it is 9 secs actually. And yes I was way over weighted. I am going to go out and try again sometime soon. What should I be able to get w/the tip tranny?

Ok, another problem that I am getting now...

Almost every time I try to start my car now when it's cold it won't start unless I press the gas pedal down. And the boost thing is getting annoying to. I am going to switch to the N75 valve tomorrow and see if that fixes it. Also how do you tell if the spark is being blown out by the boost? I have my plugs gapped to .030. Would that cause problems? Thanks. i really want to get my car running really well!

Josh, your dv might be causing your jump in boost. I had an extra vf engineering one laying around that i put in for my hyperboost, and the car would spike and also would just jump to full boost often when i intended it not to. Im running the race n75 and it seems to do the job, when i go half throttle you can hear a loud hissing when the valve is trying to regulate the boost. It holds pretty good at 10 to 15 as i want.
By the way, seems that my thermostat sensor is the obvious choice for my misfires, running rich and such, hopefully the next time i go home i can do my much needed timing belt, change the sensor and hopefully have a fully working setup ( for the first time!)
As for the startup i cant really help you there, could be a coding thing? Sometimes my cruise control wont work right away, so maybe theres a small glitch in the programming. Dunno what to tell you.

 

Thats kind of what I thought to. But I am not sure. Would it be that the spring in there is to soft? Maybe put the next one in there? I am going to try the N75 thing tomorrow to see if that helps. It's really annoying trying to pass someone and sometimes just not having the power. Sort of scary to!
