running 15psi+ on a stock turbo (well, ko4 is basically a stock turbo) will heatsoak the stock ic Also, running 24psi your not going to make more power than you did at 21psi, just create more heat

 

Cincy, do you know how to increase the boost now that I am just running the N75 valve?

You cant adjust a n75. you should look into a new mbc since those seem to not work for anybody now

P.S. How are other people running 20+ PSI w/out a MBC or EBC with this chip?

 

It is written into the sw. I have been looking at voodoo boost controlers. They make a clone of my turboXS hpbc ($110) for $45. Think the website is voodooboost.com Someone in the TT section just got one and got his setup real easy. He didnt really mess with it to much (maybe 5-10mins) so i dont have a huge opinion on them yet

 

Oh, so did they write the software different for mine since I was originally running the boost controller? I wonder if he can change that around for me.

thats the one. Also they can up the requested so you would boost higher if you asked them to

 

Wait what? I can up the requested boost for the ecu? Not the mbc right? LOL *Feels dumb for asking that*. I hopefully will hear from Torque Factory tomorrow. I am going to call again tomorrow and see if I can go down there and have them change it for me.

you cant do it, but they can. Revo people with sps3 devices have access to do timing and boost changes themselves, everyone else needs the tuner to make adjustments for them. A mbc is the only way you personallycan control boost.
